Asiacell Sponsors “Hope” Marathon to treat cancer patients

“Hope” Marathon was launched in Sulaimania amidst an increased mass participation to provide support and care for patients afflicted with cancer. Started in Sulaimania, the Marathon labeled as “Hiwa” which mean “Hope” was sponsored by Asiacell and in coordination with Hiwa Hospital for cancer patients and Erbil Organization for Marathons. The sport event aims to raise public awareness about cancer diseases and to collect donations for cancer patients to improve their living and health condition. On the other hand, providing psychological support to cancer patients is no less important than the chemical treatment that patients receive, which in turn help boost their self-confidence and make it through the difficult recuperation period.
