Changing Line Type
Asiacell is pleased to offer for the customers the opportunity for changing their Lines Type to postpaid or prepaid and vice versa with keeping their own number and as follows:
Prepaid to Postpaid: Visit Asiacell shop with the required documents: Civil ID, accommodation card, and 2 personal photos. For foreigners the required documents are passport, Residence card and 2 personal photos.
Postpaid to Prepaid: (On 24 or 25 or 26 for the month – after bill Generate) Visit Asiacell shop with the required documents: Civil ID, accommodation card, and 2 personal photos. For foreigners the required documents are passport, Residence card and 2 personal photos.
Prepaid to Prepaid: By dialing 200 and follow the IVR instructions. Changing Line Type is free for the first 3 times and any further Changing will charge IQD 1000 (except for Day on you Day on us line as it costs you IQD 1000 regardless the no. of changing).
Below Prepaid line types are available under the short code of 200:
- Day on you Day on us
- Prepaid Line (Commercial Seconds)
- Youth line
- Almass Line
- China Line
- India Line
- Turkey Line
Note: Gold line subscribers can migrate to any other line but they will not be able to return back again to the discounted tariff of Gold line
Activating Voice Mail Service (VMS)
To Activate and setting up : Dial 244 and enter the default password (9999), and just follow the IVR instructions to personalize the voicemail box (Welcome Voice Message and changing the default password).
To Divert calls when being unreachable: Kindly, press * 62 * 244 # ok
To Cancel all Calls Diversion: Kindly, press ## 002 # ok
