Asiacell receives a Letter of Appreciation from Directorate of General Company of Electricity Distribution in Southern Iraq

Iraq, Baghdad – Asiacell Company received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the Directorate of General Company of Electricity Distribution in Southern Iraq for the efforts the Company had made to cooperate with and provide support to the above-mentioned Directorate. As part of the cooperation, Asiacell provided power transformers to the electricity distribution section that feeds north of Basra with electricity.

It is worthy to mention that Asiacell has provided many government departments with power transformers including, among others, Sulaimania Directorate of Electricity Distribution.

In the same vein, Abdulla Hassan, Asiacell’s official spokesperson said, “We consider Asiacell as the leading telecom and Internet provider, as well as the company that provides actual support to the Iraqi community. Hence, we are always prepared to back any government or non-government entity that can render a service to the Iraqi citizens and to improve their living conditions”.
