Sulaymaniyah, 6 November 2025 - Asiacell today announced the confirmation of a new Guinness World Records title for the Largest nail and colored Thread Artwork, achieved with an artwork measuring 26.6 square meters, surpassing the previous record of 13.3 square meters. The piece was completed in Baghdad this year, and unveiled in Sulaymaniyah in a ceremony attended by success partners and media representatives.

This achievement embodies Asiacell’s vision of a national company whose role extends beyond delivering services to inspiring the community, empowering young talent, and supporting initiatives that reflect the country’s identity and future ambitions. In collaboration with artist Ali Al-Rawi, a bold idea was transformed into a tangible artistic icon that meets Guinness World Records’ rigorous documentation standards, proving that beauty can arise from the simplest materials when craftsmanship is guided by a clear vision.

The artwork features a deliberately chosen green backdrop with Asiacell logo placed at the center as a direct visual message of Asiacell’s commitment to sustainability, environmental respect, and responsible practices across its operations and community initiatives. The interlaced threads mirror the fabric of society when people work together, emerging more beautiful, stronger, and better able to drive positive change.

“Asiacell’s role goes beyond providing telecom services to empowering youth and inspiring our community. This world record reflects what can be achieved when a clear vision meets creativity and teamwork,” said Asiacell’s Chief Executive Officer.

“I am honored to share this achievement with Asiacell. The team proved that beauty can emerge from the simplest materials when craftsmanship meets planning and discipline,” said artist Ali Al-Rawi.

Asiacell extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the project. The company also thanks Guinness for their professionalism and transparency.
