Asiacell Approves 150% Cash Dividend Distribution at Annual General Assembly Meeting

Asiacell, Iraq’s leading telecommunications company, held its Annual General Assembly Meeting on Saturday, May 23, 2026, in Sulaymaniyah. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Faruk Mustafa Rasool, Chairman of the Board of Directors, where Shareholders unanimously approved all items listed on the agenda.
Key resolutions approved during the meeting included the Board of Directors’ report, the auditor’s report, and the company’s financial statements for the fiscal year 2025, as well as the appointment of an external auditor to review and audit the company’s accounts for 2026. The General Assembly also approved the distribution of cash dividends at a rate of 150%, equivalent to IQD 1.5 per share, payable to all shareholders registered in the company’s shareholder register on the date of the General Assembly Meeting, in accordance with Article (4) of Regulation No. (25) of 2024 issued by the Iraqi Securities Commission (ISC).
This distribution reflects the company’s ongoing approach to enhancing shareholder returns and underscores Asiacell’s strong financial performance during 2025, supported by available cash balance and accumulated surplus. The dividend payment date will be announced in due course.
