Asiacell hosted a summer training course for more than 150 students from engineering, science and technical colleges in various Iraqi universities. The course, supervised by Asiacell specialists, commenced on the 1st July and will continued for 2 months.
This practical and theoretical training course - organized annually by Asiacell - reflects the Company’s goal to broaden university students’ horizons and develop their skills. The course also aims to enhance the local Iraqi labor market’s capabilities in an effort to achieve sustainable development that is based on knowledge and education.
Asiacell’s training course will be attended by students of the engineering, technical, science and business colleges from various universities and technical institutions across Iraq. The universities include: Sulaimaniyah University, Cihan University in Kirkuk and Erbil, Al-Rafiden University, Koya University, Kirkuk University, Salahaddin University, Mosul University, Baghdad University, Al-Nahrain University, Al-Hadba University in Mosul, the American University, and the Sulaimaniyah Technical College.
The training course covers 77 topics on GSM fundamentals, the technologies and applications within the industry, in addition to value added services including business solutions, amongst others.
